The M4i.44xx-x8 series cards use the second generation 8-lane PCI express interface for giga byte transfer speeds. The interface and the three quarter PCB length are designed for a wide range of computer and chassis combinations. A new generation of monolithic A/D converter is utilised, with a choice of 16 bit resolution at 130 and 250 mega sample/sec, or 14 bits at 500 mega sample/sec. Excellent dynamic performance and ultra low internal noise provide precision results. Each input channel has its own carefully designed amplifier section giving synchronous zero phase delay between multiple channels, which can extended to multiple cards, (see the Star Hub option below). A 20 MHz bandwidth Butterworth 3rd order input filter can be enabled through software command. The extremely large on-board memory allows the highest sampling rates to be maintained, helping buffer the data should the PC hard drive bandwidth prove restrictive. Extensive support for programming includes Visual C++, Borland C++, Gnu C++, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, J# and Delphi code.
