Combining long battery life, wireless connectivity options and a rugged construction, this rugged tablet PC is designed for mobile computing indoors or out and ideal for industrial or survey work. The tablet format is particularly easy to carry and benefits from a bright and easy to read 8" touch screen which automatically adjusts to ambient light. The easy-fit standard battery is connected to the rear by two screws and can be exchanged for another in Windows standby. A "hot-swap" high capacity external battery may also be strapped to rear of tablet PC, (connection via short cable) to further extend operational use.
